The Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer comfortably fits in the palm of your hand with a raised button on the top. It has a measurement range of -22℉ to 716℉ and is accurate within ±2% of reading. Emissivity is fixed at 0.95. Measures Centigrade and Fahrenheit.

Accurately measures skin temperature, which can be expected to differ from body temperature based on the rodent’s thermoregulatory state and physiological status. Ideal for monitoring tail temperature when measuring blood pressure noninvasively.

Directions for use

To measure tail temperature, position the infrared thermometer approximately one inch away from the base of the tail, making sure the light is shining on the tail, not on the warming platform.
